Welsh Blog Watch: Back from the dead

It seems our 'friend' at WBW is back.

Take at look at this. Ok, Guido won't exactly be quaking in his boots.

What's more interesting is the source. It is now widely known that Welsh Ramblings is run by Plaid staffers in Cardiff Bay, and possibly also by Plaid workers at Party HQ.

This leaves one question: Is Plaid Cymru actively working to undermine its alliance with Labour
by seeking to destablise the Welsh Secretary?

It also begs another question, namely why is Welsh Blog Watch almost exclusively dedicated to 'watching' Welsh Ramblings?

Haven't Labour Party staffers learned their lessons from the recent 'smeargate' incidents?

  1. Everyone has known for at least three weeks which Plaid staff are behind the Ramblings blog.

  2. Am I contesting that point?

My question is simple. Please answer it.

  3. David Taylor has obviously been very lazy recently between WBW and AG he's only managed a couple of posts in a fornight.

One of them was an apology for being a prick.

  4. If only the Plaid staff bloggers had such self-awareness we'd all be better off.

  5. Self awareness? He was pressurised into apologising by a newspaper. Self awareness would be to keep offensive football chants to yourself and not broadcast them at a time when people are mourning loved ones

  6. ...back to the subject of the post...

Welsh Blog Watch is supposed to watch Welsh blogs. So far it's mostly watched Welsh Ramblings and Free Speech Wales (it's watch site).

It's quite obviously a Labour staffers response to WR's smears.

Either Marcus or David T would be my guess.

  7. "why is Welsh Blog Watch almost exclusively dedicated to 'watching' Welsh Ramblings?"

I would guess it is because Ramblings is a) regularly updated, b) woeful and therefore an easy target and c) run by publicly paid Plaid staffers.

Will that do as an answer to your question?

Perhaps changing the name to Welsh Ramblings Watch would be in order.

PS (c) is a tad ironic considering Labour staffers and their 'ownership' of attack blogs.
